This is an abstact of a letter that my G-aunt Nettie Sanders wrote to my
mother Lola Bernice Riddle who was born inChillicothe Missouri April 26,
1917. My granny Riddle was Mary Sanders of Hardin Co., Iowa. B. 1881
Your Grama losson (Lawson) and Myself used (to?) be the best of friends she
was married before to a man i dident know the name then ( John Wesley Riddle)
but she Married George losson i used to be at her house 1/2 any time we cook
Mustard greens Cat fish
well any(crossed out) she Moved to texas and died and burrie (d) there but i
dont know what part and your Gramp(a) i dont (a)enything of him only they
used to live clost to Breckenridge Mo he must be barried not far from
breckinridge Mo as all the boys Charley George willie (William) were all
living around breckridge growed up with my man now Charley willie all went
to texas and died there but i dont know what part of Texas Your aunt Magy
must live clost to breckinridge as fair as i know also your aunt lizzie lived
in chillicothe Mo if they are not dead you could find out lot your father
busness at fair play Mo.
All brackets are my thoughts or interpitations of what she wrote. Some of
the words were possiabely clipped when my sister photo copied them to. She
was I think in her 80s when she wrote this to my mother. I will have to go
bqck and ck her birth date and when the letter is dated.
Though I'am feeling a little better this evening. I'am by no means up to par.
To those of you on the Riddle L list that have an unidentified William
Riddle in Texas.
Then he could be my lost Grt uncle. I think they may have went to Houston
Texas as one of the g-aunts or one of there dau's that was perhaps with the
Houston Chronicle Newspaper. He is suppose to Have been Ed McClellan.
To all that I promised to do lookups for please bare with me as I'am still
having a lot of trouble with my health.
