I have a ANDERSON book which does not seem to have my line. Might you
connect to it? I would be happy to give this book to someone who can find
their line in it and share it with and do lookups for others of the same
ANDERSON line. I do not know the geography of Virginia, but it appears that
this family was in New Kent Co., part of which became Hanover Co., VA in
1720. In the 1700's some of the descendants moved to Albemarle Co., VA.

"Anderson Family Records," by W. P Anderson, Cincinnati, Ohio; Biddeford
Pool, Maine; 1936. Published by W. F. Schaefer & Co., Cincinnati, Ohio

It appears that the focus of the book is a Robert ANDERSON family, however,
the author includes information on other ANDERSON families of Colonial
Virginia. This Robert ANDERSON family had a property referred to as the
GOLDMINE plantation on the South Anna River, a southern branch of the
Pamunkey. The introduction makes mention of the following surnames to be
found early on: OVERTON, GARLAND, MASSIE, DABNEY.

Robert ANDERSON, d.1712, aged about 72 years, m. Cecilia MASSIE. Children
probably Richard, David, Matthew, John Thomas, Nelson, Mary and Cecilia.

Robert ANDERSON, d. 1716, aged about 53 yrs m. Mary OVERTON. Children
probably Richard, James, Garland, Matthew m Elizabeth DABNEY, David m
Elizabeth MILLS, Robert m. Elizabeth CLOUGH, Nathaniel, Charles m. Jannet
CLAIBORNE, John, Charity and Sarah.
