Howdy Alicia ...{:)

Unfortunately, the lady and gentleman Anderson folks were not identifed
in Census data until 1850 Federal Census, unless they were heads of
households, and it appears her family moved to Tennessee in the early
1800's for her to be married in 1809 to Jordan Coleman. Unless she was
mentioned in an Anderson Will, she is untraceable ...{:(. I would
definitely post this to the Anderson List in case sombody else may have
run parallel with your search, may even list this query with Coleman
list and in both NC and SC lists.

Please keep me in your loop ...{:)

Best luck!

Hello Dan,

I read you e-mail, now I have a question for you. My Grandfather
Coleman's great grandmother was a Nancy Anderson B. 1784 SC. She married
Jordan Coleman [b. abt. 1770 VA] 1809 Rutherford CO TN. On the 1850
census In the home of Joshua Coleman [son of Jordan, but not proven] a
Nancy age 66 b. in SC is listed. In your research do you have
information that might connect to her?

I have a Jesse Coleman b. abt. 1780 VA married 1805 Frances
Southall b. abt 1780. Joshua mar 1840 to a Sarah Ann Bird/Byrd. I am
enclosing this information because I have found all 3 maiden names in
Southall information.

We are working with family records from a family in Bedford Co
TN.

Alicia
