PMHB says that Elijah died "1776-1783". Maybe there were
two different Elijah Andersons. The DAR record of my mother's
cousin at the NSDAR read "1838" as the death date of Elijah
Anderson who served as a private in the Revolutionary war. (See
the sources far below.)
According to the Dutch naming practice, the first son was to be
named in honor of his paternal grandfather. Since Elijah's first
son's name was Cornelius. Therefore, I believe that Elijah was
son of a Cornelius, not of an Eliakim. I would appreciate your
thoughts on this case.
Elijah married 1794 his cousin Miriam Anderson as his second wife
(See the marriage record below.) Elijah's two daughters Rebecca
and Sarah were married to their cousins, named Eliakim Anderson
and Thomas Anderson. I have yet to identify the husands' parents.

* Note #1: Elijah Anderson's name appears on a marriage record in
Frederick Co.
courthouse as bondsman of his two daughters Rebecca Anderson and Sarah
Anderson in 1799. A minister was John Pickett. I believe that Rebecca
Anderson and Sarah Anderson were married to their cousins, so I am
looking
for the parents of Eliakam Anderson and Thomas Anderson
