I am looking for information on the descendants of Charles Anderson b. about
1790, and came to Ky prior to 1820. His known children were: Isabell , b.
1809, married Reese Alexander Ross; Charles Anderson, b. about 1811, SC/VA,
married 1) Elizabeth Owens, 2) Hannah Osborne; Mary Polly Anderson, b. 1817,
married Henry Clay; Cela "Schelah" Anderson, b. about 1818, married John
Fuller; John Anderson, b. 1820, married Nancy White; Hiram Anderson, b.
1824, married Spicey Tackett; and Jesse Anderson, b. 1825, married Sarah A.
Edwards. All the known daughters moved to Wyoming Co. or Wayne Co, in WV
between 1850 and 1860. I have not been able to find any information on John
and Nancy White Anderson or Jesse and Sarah Edwards Anderson.


His son of Charles Anderson Jr. married 1) Elizabeth Owens, 10 Jan 1839,
married 2) Hannah Osborne, 17 May 1842., both in Pike Co., Ky. Their
children were Alfred, b. 1843; Shadrick, b. 1845; Tabetha, b. 1847, m.
Solomon Moore; Jepetha, b. 1849, m. Mary Ann Green; and Sylvester Anderson,
b. about 1850. No further information on Sylvester.

Shadrick Anderson married 1) Dicy Slone, 3 Mar 1877. Their children were
Sarah H. "Alifair" Anderson, married Aaron Anderson; Hansford Anderson, born
1874, married Briller Elkins; James Leonard Anderson, born 1876, marreid
Myra Elkins. Dicey died during or shortly after the birth of Leonard.
Shadrick then married Elizabeth Johnson White, 22 Aug 1876. They had the
following children: Julia Ann Anderson, born 1878; Jarvey Anderson, born
1880; Charles Anderson b. 1882, William b. 1888; Hester Anderson , b. 1891,
marreid James Perry Summer; and Joseph Anderson, born 1894. No further
information on Hansford, Julia, Jarvey, Charles, William, or Joseph.

Any information or pictures of any of these lines or any related lines would
be greatly appreciated. My direct lines flows through James Leonard
Anderson, son of Shadrick Anderson and Dicey Slone.
