Is that easier than "forward" to ?

Lesmahagow in South Lanarkshire, Scotland means 'Church of Mahagow' (Eaglais
Gaelic form of latin ecclasia for church.) 'Mahogow' Gaelic personal name.
Records show 'Lesmahagu' from 1130, 'Ecclesia Machuti' in 144 and
'Lesmachute' in 1316.
