Hello,
I am trying to find information regarding my mother-in-law's ancestors. Her maiden name was Anderson. My husband remembers attending what he believes was an Anderson family reunion in South Carolina, probably sometime in the early 1960's. However, he cannot remember where in South Carolina this was and I have yet to find much information about the Anderson family.
What I do know is that my mother-in-law's parents were Mabel Miles, born in Alabama in 1886, and Albertus Anderson, born in Florida around 1887. Albertus died between 1920 and 1930, but I have been able to determine that his mother was Hallie J. Anderson nee Pillans, born in South Carolina around 1866. I have seen other online postings claiming that Hallie J. Pillans married M. P. Anderson in Marion County, Florida in late 1885, but I have not been able to find proof of this marriage, nor any record of M. P. Anderson. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who believes they might know of a connection to this family.
Thank you in advance!
Jill
