James Anderson, b 1842 in Teddington Middlesex married Sarah Smithers(I think - still have to check that one) b 1847 in Oxshott Surrey. They married in Sept 1868. children - Robert, Emily, Lilia, Rose, Violet, Daisy, Charles, Grace and Ivy - all born Teddington.
James had two brothers, David and Robert both born Teddington. They owned and ran a Nursery on Hampton Rd, Teddington.
The family story is that the Andersons came from Glasgow originally but I can't get any further back than James.
