Hi Eunice,

I was looking for my GGparents (VILLAS) via home computer and came up with a
big fat zilch using wildcards, phonetic variations etc.. then I was in
Brighton and wandered into the Local Studies Library and used a computer
there to directly access the PRO census. Bingo! Well, I think(!) bingo:
VILLAS in 1900 on their marriage certificate was either a spelling mistake or
an Anglicisation - managed to find a Frances and Sarah VILLNO the right ages
in London (and the only Villno's seemingly in the country, not an Italian
name, but possibly still more spelling errors, etc ) ... anyway, the point of
this woffle is that I came home and did exactly the same search and came up
with zero!! Why would that be? (I usually blame AOL for every search
failture *G* !) Could using a different copmputer make a difference?

Regards
Hille
