Hello all - thanks for the welcome!
For some time I have been searching for any information of how I can find
more details about my husband's g grandfather GIOVANNI ROVETTO. He came to
South Wales in the early 1880s (we presume) but can find no trace of him
until his marriage in 1885 in Glamorgan where he worked in an iron foundry.
His place of birth was Turin and I wonder if anyone has done any research
on ancestors from this area or can suggest where I go from here.
