Hi Tina,
I am interested in the Dewsbury information. In 1891 from the information I
have, my Grandfather would have been 24 and my Great-Grandfather 53. I am
now almost certain the name was Gentile, apart from one reference to
Gentili all the marriage and birth certificates he has been involved in
confirm this. Any information is worth looking at when you are running out
of ideas. I am trying to get back to his birth place, any ideas as to what I
might try next, I have done all the well known things, apart from getting a
researcher to look at the naturalization files at the National Archives.
