Hi Steve, not sure if any use to you, Pallot's marr index have a marriage
the year before Thomas was born in St Martin in the Fields 1783 of Giovanni
Sabotini to Grace Jewson. I just thought it was interesting in that they
usually had their first child within a year of marrying and the London
address. Anc.Com has marr x 3 & 1 birth for Thos Sab. in Amersham,
Buckinghamshire, perhaps the next generation or two, what else is
interesting is in the 1901 census, there is a George Laverno in Amersham
Bucks, b 1824 in Chesham Bucks. Sadly he is an inmate at Amersham Union
Workhouse. He was also in there in 1871 with surname of Laverne, wife Eliza.
Also in the same workhouse aged 7 is George Laverne, a servant! also Charles
& Jane Laverne although it definitely looks like Laverno. In LDS 1881 they
are together, Geo a sawyer & children in Amersham. Will keep looking, I hope
this is of some help Cheers Tina
