Dear listers,

This is for a friend whose grandfather was one of the 600 Italian survivors
of this vessel that was torpedoed not far from England on the 1st or 2nd of
July in1940.
Her grandfather was then sent to Australia for the duration of WW2 and he
returned to his family in England in 1945. But the family have no idea of
his life while in Australia.
I wonder if there are any descendants on this list, of other Italians who
were sent to Australia from the Andorra Star, hopefully they can shed some
light.
