My ancestor was John Glenday ; I have no verified birth date. He married
Margaret Mitchell ; again no date.

Children John c 1802 ; Elisabeth c 1805 ; Lilias c 1807 ; Thomas c 1809 ;
Helen c 1813 and David c 1813.

Lilias (my G x 3 grandmother) was born, married and died in the Glamis area.
She married Samuel Mortimer and named one of her daughters Margaret Mitchell
Mortimer.
The name Margaret has been handed down to subsequent generations and I was
so pleased when I found the original Margaret. Of course her mother /
grandmother may also have been Margaret but that I have yet to prove.
