Thanks for your prompt reply. I am just in the beginning stages of research into my grandparents' families of Arbroath. You are right, Moore is not an easy one! My posting did generate one other response, from a Margaret in Australia who has Valentines in her family. Time will tell if there is any connection! Thanks, again for your help.
