Hi there!

I don't think we have a connection - yet. But, here is the THOMSON info I
have (it's not much, but it would be lovely to find a bit more family for
our Madeline!):

Andrew Fyfe, b. 1841, Forfar; d. 21st May 1922, Forfar (aged 79 years)
Son of Alexander Fyfe and Isabella Milne
Married twice: -
m. (1)Madeline Thomson, b. 1844; died 2nd Jan 1891, Forfar
on 4th August 1865 at 100 West High Street in Forfar
m. (2)Catherine/Christina Ross, b. 1851, Forfar; d. 4th Nov 1930,
Forfar
on 13th Aug 1897 at the Manse, Forfar

It would appear from the 1851 census Madeline's parents (Catherine Mitchell
and George Thomson) weren't married as Catherine is noted as being
'unmarried' at that time. She had two daughters - Magdalene Thomson and
Jean Watson.

Andrew and Madeline had fourteen children:
