Are you on dialup and trying to view a video clip on the internet or what?
The problem could be related to having a slow connection.

I am on dialup, but I had no problem with my old computer, now the new
one won't play anything through completely. This happens with clips from AOL
and things people have sent to me and today I tried to watch a video I had
taped myself and that did the same thing? I also opened something today and
it opened in Windows media and it played just fine??
