I put this question about the AOL desktop for MAC a couple of days ago, and
got no reply.

Have you tested this Beta issue for the Mac, and does it work?

The current desktop has a Windows OS base, with some "bandaids and mouse
milk" to con it into thinking that it is a Mac.

I've been reluctant to try it.
