Subject: [APG] Software for Charts?
Date: Thu, 2 Dec 1999 20:44:52 -0500
The cheapest software for charts that I am aware of is PAF Companion. It
can make either box or fan charts for ancestry (besides the standard
pedigree chart) and either box or standard descendancy for descendants. It
will tile and you can adjust the size of the boxes (within limits) and
specify what sorts of dates to put in, the format (full or just year) and
whether you want places included or not. It works with PAF 3.0 but I'm not
sure if it is compatible with the recently available 4.0. I bought it in
Salt Lake in October 1998 for $10 (I think I remember that correctly).
