Subject: [APG] Cataloging memorabilia

I need to catalog a collection of family memorabilia. It
consists mostly of letters, maps, drawings, report cards,
news clippings, school work, and other printed/written
material. Can anyone point me to a resource that explains
the usual method used in libraries and archives for
cataloging this kind of material? A plus would be if it
included instructions on cataloging textiles, jewelry (like
scout pins, commemorative pins, election pins), and photos.
