In reply to Nancy Arbeiter

I am uncomfortable with the scheduling of conferences during the school
year. It seems that NGS is the last week of school for my sons and FGS is
the first week of school. It is unfortunate that those of us with
descendants must decide between celebrating their graduations or first day
of school with professional and education opportunities.

It is suggested that both national conferences and those organizations
that tag along on their coat tails reconsider the scheduling of these
events or accept tha fact that a certain demographic will almost always be
absent from these important events.
