Subject: [APG] Genealogist as Heroine
Date: Wed, 26 Jan 2000 20:07:56 -0700
Below is a message that APG received from Rebekah Berger who apparently is
an author and wants to interview professional genealogists.
Please contact her privately if you would like to discuss your career with
her. If you answer to the list, she will not see the reply because she is
not a member of the list or APG.
Sincerely,
Kathleen W. Hinckley, CGRS

Subject: Speaking with genealogists
Dear Friends:
I am writing a story in which my heroine is a genealogist. As part of my
research, I would like to discuss with professional genealogists what their
jobs entail, what they feel one needs to be a good genealogist and also
some of their observations about their jobs, including interesting cases
they have worked on.
Could you give me a list of people that I could contact who are
professional genealogists, or, if that is not possible, could you direct me
toward groups or other links that would be able to do so?
Thanks in advance,
Rebekah Berger
