I am looking for information on Kit Carson ancestry on his CARSON direct line. I know that his father Lindsey was in NC and his grandfather William Carson married Eleanor McDuff..

But is there any solid proof out there to connect them to the CARSON family in York Co., PA???

I am specifcly trying to research the CARSON's in York Co., PA and a link was made with no documentation to proof it that Kit is a descendant.
