I am in the process of becoming certified and have a question for others on
this list.

When doing a lineage application, why can't you use a family history program
that would do the same format requested by the certification board? In
addition, why would it matter what resource you used if all sources and
citations are documented and done in one of the recognized genealogical
formats?
