My son, who is a computer whiz, is trying to convince me that instead of
a laptop, I should get a handheld. I did buy an iPAQ, which seems to
work great. It makes spreadsheets and text files, etc. I think with
the addition of a keyboard, I could do just about anything with it. We
are having trouble getting it to talk to my main computer; hopefully, we
will be able to work that out. It seems to be a software program. The
whole thing weighs less than a pound and carries easily in pocket, purse
or bag. No security problems.
Is there anyone who has experience with using a handheld that has an
opinion to express? I would appreciate hearing it.
I have used Bygones. It has some great features. I never did really
learn how to use it for multiple families without combining all the
data, but I'm sure I gave up too soon.
I've been hearing some great comments on certification and now this. I
have been a little discouraged lately in my certification project. I
keep thinking I'm making good progress, and then I decide I'm farther
away than ever. And I only have until November!! Please keep comments,
testimonials, etc. coming : )
