We cannot give or sell to others what another client has paid for without the
permission of the original client. If the interests of two clients overlap, there
is nothing wrong with putting two probable relatives in touch with one another.
The genealogist in me does that for no charge. But if they strike a deal and
request copies of research and documents, that's a whole new business arrangement
and they are back on the clock.
