These CDs contain, I am quite certain, material extracted directly from
parish records and are not yet on FamilySearch online. Someday (10
years maybe) they will probably get to the IGI, but for now they are new
ground for us. The quality should be equal to the quality of extracted
records already in the IGI. They are certainly NOT the results of good
or not-so-good member research.
I'm hoping a couple of marriages I've been looking for for 20 years will
be in there, though I suppose the chances aren't all that great. I
wonder what percentage of total parishes in Scandinavia are represented
on them. Chad, why don't you go pursue someone at the FHL about that
:) It would be kind of helpful to know, don't you think? But I'll bet
no one can answer the question.
