Dear Ellie,
www.census-online.com has links to some census abstracts.
www.us-census.org/inventory/ has another set of links.
http://www.rootsweb.com/~census/inv/index.html has yet another set of links.
Other links to similar records abstracts or searchable databases have been
compiled in various places on the Internet.
Our group has put together a page of all types US database links that we use
frequently for research at
http://www.progenealogists.com/genealogysleuthb.htm.
Joe Beine has a great web site with data links, as well ...
http://www.genesearch.com/
Good luck,
Natalie Cottrill
