Yes - I now am noticing a problem with the rootsweb emails! For instance,
one that arrived on Wednesday that said it was sent on Tuesday. It was an
answer to this email! The writer indicated that he or she had not noticed
any problems. At the time, I wondered about the question that generated
that response. Now I know -- because this one from Frederic Z. Saunders,
dated Tuesday a.m., just arrived in my mail box at 8:50 p.m. on Thursday!
I don't think I've noticed the problem with regular emails.

Subject: [APG] rootsweb problems
Is rootsweb having problems with its mail lists, (not just APG, but all
lists) or is it just me? I haven't seen any announcements about any
problems. Since last Friday, all e-mail on the various lists I am on has
been arriving anywhere from a few hours up to over 48 hours after it was
sent. Very little comes through in a few minutes as it used to. People's
replies to messages are arriving hours or days after the original message,
so it is hard to follow the discussions. This morning through rootsweb I
received only a few messages sent on Sunday afternoon and Monday afternoon.
The LAST e-mail I have received through rootsweb was sent mid afternoon,
yesterday, about 19 hours ago. Very unusual, since I normally get about 50
messages a day through rootsweb.
My ISP says it it not them, and non rootsweb e-mail seems to arrive when
sent. Please repsond directly to me, as I may not receive replies to the
list for days (if ever).
