Thanks, Donn for the reference. Here is where I found the term being used.

I figured that the reference was rather generic, and did not refer to a method or approach to problem solving. But apparently some others have confused this with family reconstitution.
The article, by the way is just marvellous. Something for a discussion group to sink their teeth into.
