I am torn. I like Legacy Family Tree the best -- it has awesome matching and merging features. However, for most clients, I use PAF 5 because that is what most of them use. I have never had good experiences with previous editions of FTM but have never tried out the latest version. I have tried at various genealogy conferences to talk to Bob Velke about my concerns with lack of metadata capabilities in genealogy programs. He has never seemed interested in talking to me, and thus I have a negative opinion of his program.
