Let's see if any of these will paste into Plain Text email:

Some ascii codes (a couple of them superscripted) -

£ = alt 156
ª = alt 166
º = alt 167
¿ = alt 168

Some ANSI codes (a couple of them superscripted) -

° = alt 0176 (degree)
© = alt 0169 (copyright)
® = alt 0174 (registered)
™ = alt 0153 (trademark)

I can see them in my Plain Text Only email program, so I'm hoping
that they come through to the list. Of course, this will only work if
one wants these particular codes. These will work in IRC, in
genealogy programs, will show up in World Connect, etc.
