You probably already know of it, but <http://www.lalley.com>, for 19th
century Wilmington, Delaware, area Catholic parish registers, is very good and
getting better all the time. At the rate they're going, in another 12 months the
dedicated volunteers working on this project should have every-name extracts of
baptism and marriage entries from all the New Castle County parishes completed
through 1900.
Most of the original registers were unindexed, or had incomplete ones, and
then only to the principals involved. This Web genealogical resource provides
access to information about people whose names were earlier almost inaccessible,
like names of baptismal sponsors or witnesses to marriage.
