Connie,
It is my understanding that all but Craig Scott's lecture were taped.
There was a schedule glitch that resulted in Craig's not being taped.
(He did give a similar lecture at another conference and it available
from Repeat Performance)

The PMC lectures were taped. To the best of my knowledge, all PMC
lectures for the past 6 years have been taped. More than 50
presentations have been given in seven years. Lectures given by the best
in the business - our business. I strongly suggest listening to some of
these presentations. If the syllabus matching the lecture you want is
sold out then I suggest you contact the library in Fort Wayne which has
a complete set and has a service of photocopying syllabus materials. You
could try to order the tapes from Repeat Performances without it yet up
on their website. I'm sure if you send in an order with the titles and
speaker names from Austin along with payment they can fill your order
right away. I do not have the sales form with me at home so I can't tell
you the lecture code numbers. The website will give you the pricing and
shipping information.
If you can't make it to a conference the next best thing is to listen to
tapes and review the syllabus materials. Twenty years ago I spent a
winter recovering from back surgery and used the "down" time to listen
to tapes from lectures. I learned a lot about many aspects of genealogy
and I've continued to learn using audio tapes.
Looking forward to seeing Connie, Alvie, Elisa, Ken, and everyone else
who subscribes to this list at the PMC in Salt Lake City on Wednesday,
September 7, 2005. The program will be announced on this list and on the
APG website in January 2005. If you are making travel plans already...
be sure to arrive by early evening Tuesday, Sept. 6th fro a special
event (details to follow in January).
Eileen
