Greetings all gentle persons concerned about speaker tapes, past and
present;

I have been working with Bruno to resolve the issue of post-production
marketing, distribution and royalty payments of conference speakers. A some
date (near I hope, rather than far) he will provide me with a database of
past tapes and they will be put up on a website (or three; aka
www.WillowBendBooks.com, www.HeritageBooks.com and possibly
www.JustGenealogy.com). The loss of links and removal of genealogy speaker
tapes from the www.Audiotapes.com website is a part of this process and at
the request of a good number of speakers or a number of good speakers. <G>

Heritage Books is willing to take over the marketing, distribution and
royalty payments for speaker tapes after the end of each conference with the
following conditions which have been agreed to by Repeat Performance,
Heritage Books, NGS, FGS, GSG and ESM.

1) RP or any other vendor provides Heritage Books with one copy of each tape
with speaker contracts post conference.

2) First sale royalties (those sold at the conference) are the
responsibility of the recording vendor and are not part of this agreement.

3) Tapes can be provided by the recording vendor to Heritage Books at $2.50
per tape, quantity 5 each title, plus actual shipping. Tapes will retail for
$10.00 increasing the royalty to each speaker to $1.50 per tape sold.

4) Tapes can be distributed by Heritage Books to other vendors and speakers
for resale at a 40% discount. Speakers can purchase their own tapes at a 40%
discount.

5) Speakers agree work with Heritage Books to identify tapes that are
current or best choice for each title. Heritage Books will not stock same
titles from the same speaker. Heritage Books will assume most recent taping
is best unless informed otherwise.

6) Speakers may at their choosing work with Heritage Books to create bundles
of lectures on other media than cassette tape.

6) Royalties will be paid every six months.

Hopefully this will be all resolved and in place by Nashville.
