In our "Prairie Farmer's Reliable Directory of Farmers and
Breeders of Walworth County, Wisconsin" of 1919 reprinted in 1995 by the
Walworth County (WI) Genealogical Society, items included:a wonderful
list of rural residents names, wife's maiden & children listed, with
name of farm, township & section, & phone # is there was one. (Darn
good info if you were lucky!)

Lots of wonderful ads. Also told who raised cattle and what type they
were. Same with hogs, chickens, sheep, horses, geese, ducks, and more.

A list of businesses is also included.

Then three "put-flesh-on-the-bones of your ancestor" sections at the end
of the book include automobile, silo and tractor owners with their
addresses.

These are great fun to read through.
