Thanks to Drew Smith, I remembered that my highlighted text didn't come
through (plain text only). And, thanks, the beginning of the sentence looks
like "To."

Can I try again? The problem sentence follows. The phrase "acclaim or
acpossess" is what is in question.

"Nonetheless that if the said Joseph Watkins his heirs and assigns do and
shall well and duly pay or cause to be Paid unto the sd Francis Bickley the
sum of twenty Pounds five Shillings & Ten Pence Currtt Money of Virginia on
or before the first Day of May Next with Lawfull Interest. then it shall &
may be Lawfull for him the said Joseph Watkins or his Heirs to acclaim or
acpossess [acsossess? = access?] and take the Said Slave and mare as his or
their Property."
