I was an attendee at NIGR in 1998 and it was definitely a superb learning
experience for me. Before going I had all these dreams of doing some of my
research in NARA but when I learned (after arriving) just how intense the
programs were, I learned it would have to stay on my learning race horse to
keep up.
I took away a whole new appreciation of the staff who teaches and especially
those who work at the archives.
