Subject: FGS Boston - Ancestor Road Show

The Ancestors Road Show will take place as part of FGS Boston on Friday, 1
September (9-5) and Saturday, 2 September (9-3). In a nutshell, FGS
attendees will have the opportunity to sign up to spend 20 minutes with a
skilled genealogist to review and ask for direction on one family history
roadblock that they are struggling with. Attendees will be able to sign up
for the event on Thursday and the sign-up will continue as long as spaces
are available.

We are looking for professional genealogists with all types of backgrounds
and specialties and are asking that each person commit a minimum of one
hour to the event. The scheduling of the genealogists will be done in one
hour time blocks. We are also looking for triage volunteers who will be
responsible for the overall running of the event such as on-site scheduling,
answering questions and giving quick research advice.

If you are willing to help please forward the following information to
Allison Ryall at by March 31th :

---The day(s) and time(s) that are convenient for you or if easier to
explain the days and times that aren't convenient for you.

---Explain your area of expertise. Please be as detailed as possible.

---You will also need to provide a brief biography or career description and
if possible a photograph no later than a month prior to the event. You may
email this information now if you would prefer. We will be creating a
display board showcasing all of our professionals that are helping with the
Ancestors Road Show.
