Another option is OneLook Dictionary at: http://www.onelook.com/. I typed in selectman
and it gave me: "Quick definitions (selectman) noun: an elected member of a board of
officials who run New England towns." In addition it provided the link to 16 matching
dictionaries. It also does translations and much more. Check it out.
