A huge problem I've run into with Ancestry's census records is that the
entire 1840 Hardy Co., Virginia enumeration has been indexed as Harrison
Co., Virginia. Even when you pull up the image of the pages, unless you
are familiar with Hardy Co. and recognize the name of the enumerator for
the page, there is now way of knowing that you are actually looking at a
Hardy Co. page.
