For more fun with Ancestry's census records - you might try looking for
anyone in Secaucus or Bayonne, both towns in Hudson County, NJ in the
1920 census.

When they put up the new everyname index for 1920 - they changed the
names for both towns. Secaucus has become "Seacaucus" and Bayonne has
become "Bayonna." (Note that they were spelled correctly in the old
head of household index.) So - if you know where the family was and try
to limit your search to the right town - you can't find them! It makes
me wonder what other towns or counties may have had their names changed
in the process...

I tried to report this and the automated suggestion came back that I
should use the "correct an error" feature on the individual's result
page. Sure - I'd have time to do that for every resident in both
cities, right? After several attempts it appeared that I had gotten
through to someone who "would make sure the correction got into the
right department." However, as of today, the towns' names are still
wrong.

Joan
