Subject: Articles about the IAJGS Conference in "The Jewish Week"
Date: Fri, 7 Jul 2006 14:06:14 -0400

"The Jewish Week" published two interesting articles today related to the IAJGS conference
in New York. The conference is only five weeks away!

"Connecting The Ancestral Dots"
(http://www.thejewishweek.com/news/newscontent.php3?artid=12688) gives an overview of the
lectures, computer labs, and tours that will be offered.

In "Father of 'Mother' DNA Study"
(http://www.thejewishweek.com/news/newscontent.php3?artid=12689), Dr. Doron Behar, the
geneticist who discovered that forty percent of Ashkenazi Jews can trace their ancestry to
just four women, is interviewed. At the conference, Dr. Behar will talk about the study
and his future research.

Full information about the conference is at http://www.jgsny2006.org, including online
registration.
