Maybe because

*I grew up in the Oklahoma Panhandle (post dust bowl) where things
were never *easy,* or
*I believe *change* is inevitable, or
*I really like the challenge of *new* ways, or
*I don't want to return to the *old* ways of doing research,

I gladly pay the annual subscription to ancestry.com. If I was upset with
ancestry.com and their service, I just would not renew. Like my Daddy always
said, *Vote with your feet."
