Hello from Cold Alabama,

Curious if anyone knows the explanation for the following information
for the father on the index. Reference is

Mother and father are both listed for births of daughters in 1934 and 1938.
Only the mother is listed in the birth of son Kenneth Afton James in
1944. The entry for the father is "Number Exists **, ** Death F." This
line is very distant from mine so not sure that I will order this
record, if allowed, to satisfy my curiosity.
