Thanks to all who offered links to other online study possibilities-- these
will save me some legwork.

Desta, it seems to me those closer to 60 than 40 have their scheduling
issues, too! Maybe for different reasons, but the end result is the same. As
long as we keep our communication lines open, we can provide resources to
each other that might otherwise remain elusive.

And, sharing our experiences and resources certainly makes life for all of
us a little easier. We'll see over the next few months and years what
develops out of this.

For creds, my MA in History is 32 years old....yesterday by most historical
standards. My interest in genealogy came much later and my interest in
professional genealogy later yet.

Although I am much closer to 60 than 40, I don't have the resources or time
to run around to all the conferences I see, or even to join all the
organizations I see, or even to take all the online courses that are
available. And don't those cruise ships sound wonderful?

All consumers must seek to find the best ways to allocate scarce or limited
resources. My hope (as I am new to this list) is that we can help each other
out by sharing our experiences.

By the way, I am taking classes at the NIGS, and would be glad to comment.
