A further clarifier: ALL of Indiana now participates in Daylight Savings
Time. Until this year, only those counties on "Chicago" time were on DST.
Indianapolis and other parts of the state which formerly always remained on
Eastern Standard Time, now jump ahead an hour.

If you once thought you knew the time in Indiana, be sure you allow for DST.
Fort Wayne is now always one hour ahead of Chicago; it is on the same time
as Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, New York, Atlanta and Boston on a
year-'round basis.

Dave McDonald
formerly resident in Lake County, Indiana (Chicago time)
finishing doctoral studies in Indianapolis (now always New York time)
