Dee,

I see that others have agreed with you on the name of the town. Just in
case you did not know, the South East Region of NARA has all the original
draft cards. I had the same problem with my grandfather's card. I had two
lines that I could not read from the microfilm and Ancestry's copy was even
worse. I was in Atlanta last month and went to NARA to look at the original
cards. On the microfilm it looked like something was smeared or spilled on
the card. The original was in perfect condition and easy to read and
photocopy. I do not know why the film was so hard to read.

You can have NARA make a copy from the original card if you need to look at
a better copy.
