I have been working with a voice technology company for several months.
I have prepared a prototype for a tutorial using one of their products
from the material covered in my recent Newspaper Finding Aids
teleconference.

The features of the companion product that builds this type of tutorial
has been my primary focus in working with this company, so I really
would like fresh eyes and ears from the listener/viewer perspective. I
would like feedback from folks who download and play this demo. Please
respond off list to me directly.

Background
========
I am currently working with a down load version for creating and playing
multimedia tutorials and documentaries on PCs. A CD product set of other
content producers for this company is going into 7,500 stores
nationwide this month. That CD product set can be listened to in a CD
player in a car for example, and it can be played on a computer where
the associated text can also be viewed or printed.

The tutorial I have constructed has additional features, and there are
other features that will be in the next version. I am not going to give
any usage instructions, so I can get feedback on what is easy and/or
difficult to figure out.

The text/image formatting and display will be upgraded in the next
version, and the web links in the text or the images click-able yet.

The ads links are clickable and I have constructed directed searches on
GenealogyBank content used in the beginning to illustrate the advertiser
links.

The print/export features can be turned off, ie just as requested by a
business school journal for their publication distribution. On the other
hand, educational publishers who provide lesson plans to sell their
products aren't concerned about protection for free content they already
distribute.

The content for this demo tutorial has much less explanatory and
discussion than we even had during the teleconference, but it should be
enough to elicit feedback.

Feedback Request

I would like the feedback to be itemized and numbered by these categories.

1. User interface in general.
2. How did you use the tutorial? Did you play/view from beginning to end
and then go back to particular points of interest? Or did you skip from
section to section first? Did you try the find, export and/or print
features?
3. Would you find it useful to be able to add text, image and voice
annotations for your own use - and/or collaboration with another person
based?
4. Other comments/suggestions.

The file is approximately 13 MegaBytes, so the download time will vary
with your internet connection speed. Select save when you click on the
