Dear Valorie,
Had I asked about the principles that concerned me - without the
hypotheticals - would you have answered? Would you have even read the post?
Two of the situations in the entire original post are hypothetical - to the
best of my knowledge.
Discussions of ethics should be "what ifs," not "but he dids." Framed as
Kathy Flynn and Elissa Powell did, answered as Elizabeth Shown Mills and
Claire Bettag have, and discussed as most have done privately, I am
generally proud of the company on this list.

Melinde, you raised your hypothetical situations on this list. I believe
that
many of us on the list have the same questions as Richard -- are these
hypotheticals, or did these things actually happen?
I would prefer an answer on the list.
Valorie
